A young professional couple with 2 beautiful little girls had out grown their three bedroom, 1.5 bath salt box home in a great Squirrel Hill Neighborhood.

Prime 1 added a two story addition to the back of the house with room left over for a manageable yard for the girls to grow up with.

After removing the back wall of the original house, we removed the wall between the exiting kitchen and dining room. The exiting area became the new, large kitchen with beautiful granite countertops.
The addition added approximately 500 sf of open living space including two walls of glass and a slate tiled fireplace. Beautifully framed 3Form allow for an intimate dining room partition.

The second floor addition allowed for a huge master suite including private bath with heated ceramic tile floor. Another beautiful 3Form creation forms the walk in shower. Paper Stone surrounds the soaking tub under a huge window overlooking the private back yard.

A vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom topped with large windows adds a feeling of mountain airiness to this extraordinary space. Complimenting this openness is the sliding glass door leading out to the balcony.
